Meet Us Gerald A. Boyko, DDS, DOSA, MSc. Dr. Boyko received his undergraduate dental degree from the University of Toronto in 1972. After graduation, he practiced general dentistry in a small community in northwestern Ontario. He began his surgical residency in 1974 at the Toronto General and affiliated hospitals. After completion of his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery and anaesthesia, Dr. Boyko received a Medical Research Council fellowship from the University of Toronto for on-going scientific research, and received his Master of Science degree from the School of Graduate Studies.

In 1979, Dr. Boyko established the first “Credit Valley Oral Surgery” clinic at the Glen Erin Medical Centre in Mississauga.

Over the years, Dr. Boyko has been a clinical instructor at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto; Department Chief at the Credit Valley Hospital; and Division Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Surgery, at the Credit Valley Hospital.
